Every culture is different, an many people may judge other cultures because of what that culture believes, but it is important to realize that in every culture starts being taught as a young child, that individual has grown up to really believe in certain things and that may be all they know.
If I was an employer of a company doing business in another country like china, there could be many issues such as, not knowing the language, it would be extremely hard to communicate and also not knowing much about the culture, it would be easy to offend the customers, here in America it is appropriate to look someone in the eyes while they talk, it shows that you are listening to what they are saying, but in the Asian culture it’s very disrespectful. I could also imagine that it would be difficult to find people in other countries to support your business, because you are not from there, and they typically would want to support someone from their own home land.
Having a business in another country would be hard, but there are some ways to make the transition a little better, a few ways is to study the culture. It is important to know what that culture finds acceptable and what is not, how to greet people and also how to interact with one another. Learning the simple words in the language they speak will also help the move; you should also ensure you have someone with you most of the time that understands the new language and English.
You can compare the three sociological theories, functionalism, conflict theory and interactionism. When going to another country there are going to be different types of groups just like here in America, but it can be different in another country because that is what they have learned. Everyone has a place in society that makes it function.
