I do think that we should learn cursive in school. The Reasons for this are that it’s a good skill, it’s professional, and it’s fun. Some people might say that we shouldn’t teach cursive in school but I disagree.
Cursive is an amazing skill! If you never learn cursive you won’t be able to read letters that your grandma sends. Which is sad because everyone should be able to communicate with their grandma the old fashion way. Scientists have probed that learning how to write cursive will help develop the brain. Who would pass up an offer like that? Cursive can help you in the future to get a job. Say that your boss only writes in cursive and he gives you a note to do a task. How are you going to read it if you don’t know cursive? This is why cursive is an amazing skill.
When you write in cursive it looks extremely professional. It just looks way better that other handwriting. It makes you look neat and organized. It also is really fancy and is a very individual thing. In most businesses they hire someone to write out invitations and such and the only requirement is that you know cursive. It’s a really good paying job. This is why cursive is professional.
Writing in cursive is really fun! When I learned cursive it was probably one of the most enjoyable things about school. It was really fun to connect the letters. Writing in cursive is an art. It is like drawing with words. Drawing is really gun. So by learning cursive you will be having fun.
Some people might say that cursive is pointless but I disagree because it’s an amazing skill and it will help you in the future. Not teaching cursive would be rude because you would be depriving kids from leaning this great skill. Also you would be holding them back from having a good future.
So in conclusion I do think we should teach cursive in school. If you don’t you will be depriving kids from an amazing skill, making their handwriting not as professional, and taking away a fun...
