KNOWLEDGE OF THE INTERNET TECHNOLOGY
The majority of Internet users are under 25 years of age. (Yet youth and their
uses of communication technology are poorly understood.) YOUNG PEOPLE IN(Youth )society is undergoing
significant and substantial changes as a result of new information and communication

technologies. Young people have access to many 'languages' of communication and multiple

modes of delivering information. They frequently combine text, voice, graphics, video and

gaming genres WHEN COMMUNICATINGWITH EACH OTHER. The EASY WAY OF( ease )of creating as well as communicating in cyberspace has led to changing

patterns of participation. Adolescents are not simply participants in this environment but THEY ARE actively

(shape)SHAPING the nature of the environment itself. They establish communities and adapt

technology to their needs. It was believed that the markets drove the actions of the

adolescents, but increasingly it appears that the TEENAGERS( teens) (8-12 year...
