Dairus Goes West
This movie was truly an eye opening documentary. Prior to this movie I had not even heard of DUCHENE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY. I did not realize that there was such a fatal killer disease out there. The story of Darius going West made me realize that we only have one life and we should not let anything stop us from fully living our lives.
Dairus showed that there is still parts of our so advanced and technological America that are not accessible by those who are disabled. This was sad but honest truth of the movie. American communities should prioritize and put more accessible facilities. Duchene Muscular Dystrophy is a fatal disease that is the killer for a lot of young boys. This disease needs a cure and I am so glad that Dairus goes West is helping find a cure for this disease.
Dairus has shown so much strength in fighting against the one thing that has sealed his life. He has dedicated his life to giving a chance he did not have to other people. He is telling people about this disease and now people are learning that there is silently killing a lot of young boys. The work Darius and his friends are doing is really noteworthy and very encouraging

Dairus also made me realize that true friends are the ones who will always stick through everything with you no matter how hard life gets.

It tells you about a boy who sets out to test accessibility in the United States. Their ultimate goal was to reach Los Angeles and convince MTV's hit show, "Pimp My Ride," to customize Darius's wheelchair. Along the...
