Description of his works – what does he do
David Hockney’s photo montage has inspired the piece above ,but not in the fullest sense. It was made by cutting out particular photos I took of St Joseph’s School at different times of the day and at different perspectives as I journeyed from my house to the Rock hotel. The perspectives of the St Joseph’s Church have been organised in a very subtle way to contrast with the caos that it exudes. Here I try to create a domino effect to exemplify the turmoil wreaked by the collapsing of the St Joseph’s Church. Furthermore , I want to create the illusion that the Church is falling as one piece .This is very much reminiscent of the style of M.C Escher’s work ; his .Perhaps , the inclusion of elf-like men moving from one tower to the next would have better characterised Escher’s works and certainly added
