Extinction of indigenous languages and native species do not have any
difference. When talking about extinction it must be something alive.It is not
neccesary to have a heart or brain. When talking about alive things, these must have
validity in the earth. Some languages still have validity in the earth and they are
faced with the extinction. Why do not we call the same the extinction of the
indigenous languages and native species? Both have validity in the world. These two
thnigs have an enormous importance in the world. Native species stabilize the
ecosystem which is very important for living. Indigenous languages have also great
importance because of the communication in the some parts of the world. As James
Crawford discussed in his article “Endangered Native American Languages:What
is to be done, and why?” these can be explained in the same way. Wilson also
supports that it is possible to explain the extinction of indigenous languages in the
same way we can explain the extinction of native species.
Industrialism speeds up the extinction of native species. Industrialism is
the development of the new technologies or the companies. This industrialism
makes harder to live in a good, clean world. All the living things in the earth need a
clean atmosphere or clean environment. Only in this way living things can continue
to their lives. Because of the industrialisms effect to the native species, we should
compare the equality between native species and indigenous
languages.Industrialism is the best reason for their extinction. In the last years,
industrialism has improved a lot.Its effect is seen on the plants or animals.The
companies which speed up the industrialism makes dirtier the atmosphere. Because
of the dirty atmosphere the extinction of species becomes faster and faster. One in a
million plants and animals become extinct each year. They need a clean earth to
