The major achievements in my college life with respect to my extra-curricular activities would have to be the ones during my 11th and 12th grade. During these years I took part in several competitions which enhanced my intellectual competence and helped in holistic development.
In grade 11, even though I contested & failed for the College Union TREASURER post, I was a part of the EVENT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. It was during this period that I organized several cultural fests in the college. Through effective interaction, negotiations I was able to secure sponsors such as Pizza Corner, Donut Baker and Fortuna Constructors for these fests. I realised the fact that holding such responsible positions is not only important in personal development but also necessary to survive in today’s competitive world.
During these years I have significantly developed professional competence, goal perception & team work. Quizzes, group discussions, and several other competitions like PERSONALITY and AIR CRASH have been my areas of expertise. Such competitions have made me street smart and the confident person I am. The fear of failure has never stopped me from participating in competitions, but has strengthened my courage & futuristic vision. It is these failures which make me want to strive harder to win the next time.
Courage and conviction are not the only qualities which have been added to my character but also perseverance & emotional poise. Creating higher standards in life has been an aim and will continue to keep me persistent till the end.
