Dear Diary,
My day today was pretty bad at school today. Only because everyone loved our costumes so much they decided they should start cutting their clothes and making them look like our costumes, and one girl even cut herself instead of her shirt on accident then ran to Nurse Adele freaking out. Long story short we got busted for breaking dress code on many counts and we were sent to Principle Burns office, where she called our parents telling them what we had done.
Then after sitting outside her office for what felt like hours she finally gave us a loud, short speech and sent us to the Nurses office for new clothes within dress code rules.
We all looked terrible, except for Kristen who had a spare change of clothes in her locker, as always. I guess having strict parents does come in handy. We all might have brought other clothes if we knew we would end up at Nurse Adele’s office looking for clothes that looked even a little decent. Nothing did.
I had to change into a dreadful bright red shirt that had a huge chocolate stain in the middle of it just above my belly button with matching XXL mustard yellow pants, which I was practically pulling up every second of the day. While I was changing I could almost heard Miss Burns yelling in my ear “As long as you are in my school you will dress like young ladies NOT Vegas showgirls” Emphasizing on the not. (Page 79)
Even though I probably broke about 9 violations, with my costume, I don’t regret it at all. I got to finally wear something new since this bet with Claire. Since the whole bet started I have been practically dying to wear something new, and now that I had I finally felt better. It’s Kind of like having the flu for a year and finally getting cured. Gosh… I hope no one has the flu for a year, which would just be terrible.
I was in pure heaven wearing something new earlier. And I will be in pure heaven in a few hours during my party when I get to wear it again. And as if...
