When couples decide to have children, they are tended to be judged the way they bring up their children, especially for DINK couples. It is an important issue because it concerns fundamental ethics questions about children’s character and children’s affection. This essay will consider arguments about DINK couples’ capacity to bring up children and point to some problems with these views. However, it is my contention that DINKs won’t become good parents.

Those in favor of Dinks may argue that, with their double income, Dinks have all the means they need to bring up well their children and can use childcare facilities. Nevertheless, it seems like Dink couples just use money to bring up their child, they are not really involved in it. In fact, with their busy schedule, they surely don’t have time to take care of their children. And the more they are busy, the more they turn to baby sitter or house made to help them. Moreover, parents and children need to spend some time apart to build good relation. Not only are children more respectful towards their parents and the others, but they also get the full affection they need to develop well. In addition, psychologists say that most of the time, children with less parents’ affection either tend to become delinquent or to become somebody who is closed or somebody who withdraws on himself. Therefore, money is not enough to become good parents; and children need parents’ presence and affection.

Another argument supporting Dinks as good parents is their really desire to have children and their capacity to take care of something as their pets or their activities. On the contrary, having children is something totally different. In fact, child is not a thing or an animal that the simple desire to get it means that you can deal with it.
