Well I made it, finally after 2 years of waiting, we finally got to go back to Crested Butt, Colorado. It was awesome I got to ski everyday even when everyone else went to town. It was by far the best ski trip I’ve ever been on. It snowed like everyday which was awesome cuz we had a fresh powder of snow to ski on. I loved it!
The first day we were there we unpacked are luggage and checked into are condo, we got the same condo we did the last time we were there, anyway later on that day, after we got all settled in all the kids went to the hot tub, in freezing cold weather, we had a ball. After that most of the grown ups went to a hotel down the road which was sweet cuz all the kids got to sleep in the condo, so we went to sleep and was ecstatic for the next day.
The next day me and Kailee went off on are own, and went down some greens just to get are ski legs back. I fell a couple of times. The third day, we went down some blues it was awesome Kailee like did the splits in her ski while I was at the top of the hill laughing my but off, but she got to laugh at me when I was zipping through the trails and all of a sudden just went “ George of the Jungle” into a tree, and yes it hurt like H*E*L*L. After I caught back up with Kailee she had stopped in the middle of the trail, so I decide to go around her right, well like I said we had a lot of snow, so when I go to go around her I buried myself in like 6 foot deep snow. After I got out I went through the rest of the trails and went in for the day. The next day I was ready to roll, for two reasons. One I was alone ,because everyone else went shopping, and two I was ready to go down the trail without falling, but ya’ll know me. OK here’s what happened I’m going through the trail right doing great all of a sudden I see a sign go by saying turn back, but I was already past the jump so I was committed, so here I am going pretty fast and apparently the sign didn’t say “ Watch Out FALLEN TREE” , anyway lets just say...
