As the division of automobiles is mentioned, it is important to know how they are different from each other. First, Sedans are the normal cars that we can see almost every day, everywhere. They can be of either four or two doors; they have two lines of seats–front and back–where normally four or five people fit, and a trunk in the back of the car. Many car companies prefer to produce sedans, since they can be used in many different ways, and therefore, many people prefer to purchase them. Convertible cars are those cars that have a roof-folding system. They are molded on coupés (explained later); so when you fold the roof, they become open cars, and when you fold the roof back, they are basic coupés. Convertibles divide into two different types which are the soft-tops, and hard-tops. The soft-tops are convertibles that have a soft roof, which are made of soft waterproof fabric; and the hard-tops have the roof made of hard material. Electric cars are not available yet, but they are just at the point of being produced. They are called electric cars since they use less petroleum than the actual cars, and with the help of the electricity. One of the car companies, like Chevrolet, is creating an electric car that will use ethanol, and electricity to recharge when the car’s power is gone. The electric car’s purpose is to reduce petroleum use to create less pollution to the environment, and to save people’s money since the oil’s price is going up.
