Kobe Bryant is a phenom because he scored 81 points in one game.

Jordan and Bryant won NBA Championships:

Michael Jordan won Six NBA Championships with Chicago Bulls (1990-1991, 1992-1993, 1995-1996,1997-1998). He was named the Most Valuable Player for these championship games. He was the greatest player ever played in basketball. He holds the record of having six NBA Championships and rings with the Chicago Bulls. During this time, Phil Jackson was the head coach for the Chicago Bulls. Michael Jordan became a legend in everything that he accomplished within those years. He is truly the greatest basketball player of all time.

Kobe Bryant won five NBA Championships with the Los Angeles Lakers (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010). He was also named the Most Valuable Player for these championship games that he had played in. He was called and still is the Black Mamba for all the moves that he does on the court during games. He was compared to Michael Jordan and was told that he played exactly like him. Through these championship games, Phil Jackson was also his coach at Los Angeles Lakers.

He has won many awards throughout his career of playing professional basketball. Not only he was a fan favorite, but also a professional athlete that young players looked up to as they were growing up. He became a legend for the NBA basketball and he lived up to that name.
