A Doll’s House
In this nineteenth century paly, a Norwegian couple discovers the hardships the world offers when they realize the truth about what’s happened in the past. The play takes place over a three course in which time you meet several characters including Nora and Torvalds, the couple. As well as Krogstad, Ms. Linde, Dr. Rank and the nurse. In the play you learned about a secret Nora has kept from her husband for a few years now. A secret that very well might have been what saved his life. But how did he take it when he found out the truth? Krogstad will join us and plays an important role in how Mr. Helmer finds out about the secret his wife has kept from him. As the story unfolds you learned more about Ms. Linde and why she truly comes back. You also learn about her friendship with Nora and the difference being in the real world has made them. Finally, you met dr. rank, who confesses something out of character for this time frame. But, most importantly you have learned some very intriguing facts about Nora Helmer that I would like to emphasis. First, Nora, although claims to know a lot is a very naïve person who doesn’t understand how much of the world works. However, she is a very loyal wife and a wonderful mother. Her actions she does with the intentions of care and love and because she was so sheltered she doesn’t understand the real world.
Although Nora is a naïve person when it comes to the world she good intent ions for all of her actions. During the first day of the play Kristine walks into the Helmer’s and Nora introduces her to Torvald as an old childhood friend. After Torvalds goes to his office, Kristine and Nora begin catching up. As their talking Kristine tells Nora everything that’s happened with her mother and husband dying and her brothers growing up.
