Nowadays, wearing brand-named clothes to work is a new trend. They think it is an effective and proper way to express themselves to people. But in my opinion, I prefer to dress in my own style. Here are some following reasons supporting me.
First of all, I am absolutely comfortable and satisfied with my own style of dressing. On the other hand, I mean that dressing in my style makes me relaxed. So I can focus on my job and do my best without concerning of anything.
Secondly, a personal clothing style makes someone special and stylish. Everybody will remind you with your difference, for ex: ‘’is Son the guy with dark jean and shirt?’’ . At work, it is much more important and necessary when your clients, bosses and colleagues remember exactly who you are.
The third reason and also the final one is that you can save up a lot of money on clothes. For ex: if you wear Armani trousers, it will come with an Armani shirt and shoes. You cannot wear an $1000 jean with an $50 jacket or else. People with their own style don’t have to mind about that.
But every coin has its two faces, dressing in your own style doesn’t mean that you just wear what you want and go to work. In an office, short and t-shirt are not suitable. You must follow the office’s rules. Moreover, maybe some people will say their expensive and fashionable clothing styles make them comfortable. So my argument is invalid.
Every choice of dressing clothes has has its own pros and cons. For me, I still keep the thoughts that dressing in my own style is a better choice.
