Descartes believes there are two different entities in the universe, which are Thoughts and the external world, or mind and material. The main body of mind and material comes from God, but God is self- existent. He believed that only human have soul, human is a dualism existence, human will be thinking, and will occupy space. The animal belongs to the material world. Descartes emphasized the starting point that idea can not be suspected, and it had a significant impact for future European Philosophy. “Cogito ergo sum” has a dispute that existence of God and animal monism.
