What motivates you and the other staff member while at work?

It is often assumed that all people are motivated by the same things. Actually we are motivated by a whole range of factors. Include questions to elicit what really motivates employees, including learning about their values. Are they motivated by financial rewards, status, praise and acknowledgment, competition, job security, public recognition, fear, perfectionism, results etc.

Do you feel empowered?

When the staff members feel they have a job description to perform and gives them some autonomy which allows them to find their own solutions or they are given a list of tasks to be performed.

Are the company’s goals & employee’s goals aligned?

First, the company needs to establish how it wants individuals to spend their time based on what is most valuable. Secondly this needs to be compared with how individuals actually spend their time. You may find employees are highly motivated but about the priorities.

How do the employees feel about the company?

I do feel safe, loyal, valued at times and been taken care of. But few do also feel that they are been taken advantage of, dispensable and invisible. Certainly slight efforts should take in place by the management to improve their loyalty and commitment towards the staff members of the place.

What kind of feedback you receive from your manager?

Whenever there is a feedback from the guest who stays then it is certain that I hear a positive or a negative feedback from the manager & certainly do take the feedback into the consideration to improve my skills.

What is the priority of the organization?

Customer satisfaction through the best possible hospitality service that could enhance the quality of the guest’s stay is the top most priority of the organization.
