Ecstasy is a drug that comes in a tablet and is often branded with symbols to inform what drugs does it have in it for example Nike, Playboy, Transformers. Ecstasy is mostly made from mdma, mdma is a chemical that is in Ecstasy. Mdma was first made in 1912. According to www.focusas.com/Ecstasy.html “ecstasy was use by psychiatrists as a diet tool before it was made illegal”. Ecstasy was legal until 1985 when they made illegal to use. Ecstasy became place under emergency control of number 1. It became that because the government said it has high potential of abuse and no potential of medically use. If you are caught as a manufacture or delivery man you can be guilty for up to fifteen years. When it became illegal Regan was the president and him and his wife made a speech to say no to drug and to stop doing it.
It became famous when it was legal Michael Clake was a helper for a priest and was very interested in it. Michael started it in Dallas he started inviting people to his house to try it out. First he would invite his close friends and those friends would tell other friends and the news was spread fast. After it was really popular and everyone wanted. He was giving out in the beginning until he saw how many people wanted it he saw he could give it away no more and started selling. When he saw how much money he was making it he started selling it more and in other states. People of all ages where using this drugs and they were loving it. The U.S saw that it was getting out of hand so stopped it and made it illegal to use. They announced that it will kill you if you use it and that it was tested that it makes a hole in your brain. Later on they found out the person who test it, had test it on a monkey and had use a pill that was not ecstasy but another drug.
