Expository Essay

Education is one of the best means of preparing us for the future and a nation for development and progress. Among the levels of education, it is something we work hard for. It does not only test us mentally, but puts us through several emotional, physical and even through spiritual ordeals. Fulfilling our aspirations with one our purposes for being alive on earth. Movements that modern civilization of the present was able to further to promote the importance of education and its significant invites to the social and development progress. I’m a strong achiever of getting a college degree. The 3 reasons why I choose to attend GPC are my talents and characteristics that I will bring to the table , a good role model for my brothers and sister, and last but not least I want to major in music.
To begin, I will bring my talents and characteristics to the table at GPC. When I think of the talents that I can contribute, I begin to understand what this college is about. GPC is about the warmth and acceptance. It’s all about accepting students from walks of life to perform and give it their all to the best of their abilities. However, GPC is also about encouraging students in any major that they would love to pursue. I believe that I have strong characteristics that will be needed in order to fulfill the demands of studying. My ambitions in life which will lead me to strive to reach my goal. Through my constant will for success, I will strive harder the education GPC provides.
Another reason, a good role model for my brothers and sister. I want to be someone that they can look up to. Let them know that they can do all things through Christ that strengthens them. I have a dream of something greater for my life and work towards that dream to become something inspiring and a person who wish for them to say “ If my big sister graduated from high school and attends GPC to pursue her major, I can too’’.
