People can benefit more from traveling around their countries than traveling to foreign countries.
Since the industrial revolution, traveling has been considered as intriguing for many people. It is however a controversy on whether people should travel to foreign countries or their own. Some people advocate that traveling to different countries is a whole lot interesting and imperative in that it provides high quality information. However, from my perspective, traveling to close destinations is far more beneficial because it is less expensive and provides better experience.
Firstly, traveling inside countries reduces the money spent on transportation. Whereas, considerable amount of money are spent on airplanes, people can save money by traveling on public transportations. Furthermore, this issue of spending a lot of money when traveling around the world is intensified when people travel with their families. This is because more money is spent on when there are more people purchasing tickets for the ride. According to the research conducted by Seoul National University, the money that was spent on traveling by airplanes were hundred times bigger than that of the expense by public transportation. Researching hundred people, it was found that one million pounds were spent on airplanes while only one thousand pounds were spent on public transportation. This shows the huge financial difference between two different transportations.
Furthermore, by traveling around in home countries people can enjoy and learn more experience because they are able to communicate. When visiting foreign countries, communication is vital in various perspectives. In order to get to the right destination, understand the tour guide, read messages or information, people must be able to speak their language.
