The Fallen House of Usher
Roderick Usher wrote a letter to his friend to come see him, because he has acute bodily illness. He wrote to him to have him come to his house and maybe help his spirits rise a little. Well he felt that he had to come because he has been friends with Roderick since boyhood, and Roderick said he was his most loyal companion. Roderick has one other relative on this earth his sister. They are said to of had the same disease. Well every time he seems to speak with Roderick he thinks he is in awe. Through out this whole story he seems to think that he is here for a completely different reason until the last moments of Roderick’s here on earth. Roderick has to show and tell him something.?.
At the very beginning Roderick asks his friend to come see him. Well as soon as he gets there before he even walks onto the property, he feels a utter sense of suffering. He can not help but to feel that way like he is a suffering place. He is uncomfortable being there, but he says he has to go inside because his friend asks him to. Well he gets inside and as soon as he sees his friend he is in awe. He can not help but to feel this way as well.
When he seems to speak to either Roderick or his sister Madeline he is in awe. Every time he hears them speak he thinks he has to listen so he does not miss anything that they say. He watches every single movement that they make. He can not help himself. They have this special attention getting feeling over him.
Through out the whole story he thinks that Roderick seems fine as well as his sister. He thinks that everything is in their heads. Well in the middle of the night Roderick comes in his room and says “have you seen it, have you heard it.” Well he has not so Roderick takes him down to the vault, and there are people everywhere in masks.
