Introduction
The film Erin Brockovich tells about an unemployed single mother who has 3 children, her name is Erin Brockovich. She tries to apply job, but she always does not get it. One day, she get car incident that cause injury of her neck. Lawsuit is filed by her to the other driver who causes the incident. However, her lawsuit failed against to the other driver, actually the driver is a doctor.
After that tragedy occured, she still have not got a job. At the time, she asks for her lawyer to give a job as her compensation. Finally, Ed Masry, her lawyer gives her a job. Even though she is received, but she never gets experiences to work in law.
She must works to give subsistence for her children and her life. She always entrusts her children to her baby sitter during she works. One day, a baby sitter quit from her job. However, at the time there is a new neighbour near her house. His name is George. He always helps her to treat and take cares of her children. So, she can works nicely. Her partners in office is not so good. When she works, they feel uncomfrotable because she always wears sexy clothes and can not speak nicely.
One day when she works, she finds a case of document. From that, she will changes her life. She finds the lawsuit from Donna Jensen. She amazed, because there is a medical records that put in property case file.
Apparently, she finds the property case that involve a big Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) Company. The file also has an offer by PG&E to purchase Donna Jensen’ home in Hinkley. That company offers to purchase real estate. Actually, the water around Hinkley contaminated by hexavalent chromium because of PG&E company. The toxin is harmful for the population and cause the population stay in poisoning area and get a lot of diseases. The diseases will give impact after two years to the sufferer.
