Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind is a romantic drama starring Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Kristen Dunst, Elijiah Wood, and Mark Ruffalo. The movie is about Joel (Carrey) a middle aged man who finds out that his ex girlfriend Clemintine (winslet) has undergone a procedure in which all of her memories of Joel have been erased.

Joel is finding it hard to get over his failed relationship with his ex girlfriend Clementine. One morning when Joel goes outside to get in his car to go to work, he finds his car has been wrecked. Joel decides to take the train to work. While on the train Joel meets Clementine and becomes smitten with her. He decides to call in work and spends the day with Clementine.
Despite Joel and Clementine’s different personalities, they fall in love almost instantly. Joel is this middle aged boring writer with a lack of personality. He wears clothes that are plain and boring. Clementine is a middle aged woman with the spirit of a twenty one year old, with a personality that has a lot of spunk and self identity. Clementine dresses according to her own style and changes her hair color weekly.

Even though Clementine and Joel were two different people with very little in common, they still managed to fall in love. In the movie it is not exactly clear when Clementine fell out of love with Joel, but she does.

Clementine finds herself bored with Joel. Instead of confronting Joel about how she felt, the relationship ends. Clementine then decides to have all the memories of Joel erased from...
