No preferences. all should be treated the same Currently had a bad experience with one of the members of my staff. I started having a problem with him because he showed lack of responsibility, respect to work and colleagues, and was taking advantage of flexibility of job.
All this little matters led to a serious confrontation. I took this problem to my superiors but no resolution came out of this.
After this, we both asked our vice president to put him in a different area. It is extremely hard to deal with this type of conflicts especially if that other person has disrespected you in front of other members of the group.
I currently have to deal with him on a daily basis, but had to understand that I’m the leader of the group and have to learn to cope with this type of situations.
My team members know I respect them all, and listen to their opinions and problems and he is not the exception.
