Europe In The Twentieth Century: 1914-1990

Assessment: The 20 credits unit will have a) two assessments each weighted at 25% (learning outcomes 1, 2, 3). Each will be an essay of 1,000 words maximum where the focus will be on analysis and interpretation. b) There is an additional longer third essay, (2000 words maximum, weighted at 50%; (learning outcome 3) to be submitted on the same date as the second essay. The essays must be fully in-text referenced, using the Harvard format – APA style, including a bibliography. Please consult your student handbook accordingly. Essays without or with insufficient/incorrect referencing and/or bibliography face the prospect of a fail or lowered marks.
You should aim to include at least 8 different sources for your in-text references. Make sure that at least 4 sources are NOT internet sources.
