The Assessment portion:
Is to discuss the purpose of the program and outline its function.
The purpose of the Peace Domestic Violence Agency is to promote an atmosphere of protection, security, and support for the victim or survivor of the violence as well as their families that are affected by the domestic violence as in their children. The function of the organization is to provide interventions to stop the violence in the home. With this there is counseling support to those that have experienced times of violence whether its youth to adults, parents, siblings, or an entire family. It provides a place of shelter for families or individuals needing a safe place to stay outside of the home. It educates mothers with the consequences of returning to the home of violence. Informing the community of the violence surrounding their community and how they can help those in need of some help. The program is committed to reducing the incidence of violence whether physical, verbal or sexual by educating the community on how they are committed in reducing the community’s societal norms and beliefs that condone and perpetuate violence in the community.
To continue helping the community and those in need of these services the program will have to develop an evaluation plan by using a simple framework design. The program wants to assess the work that is be performed and the reasoning for the evaluation is to know what is working in the program and know whether or not it is actually working as well as what isn’t working. The reasoning for that is that is there is a program that isn’t working then there is no reason to continue using such a program if it is proven to have no results in ability to work, the resources could be used in a more productive manner on...
