Examples of Tangible Proof

There are examples of “tangible proof,” that support the Theory of Evolution, something that is absent among the ideas of Creationism; a reason it shouldn’t be incorporated in present-day schools. The scientific theory of evolution should be taught in schools today with no introduction to creationism because there are direct observations occurring in populations of organisms, observations derived from the anatomy of the very organisms currently residing on earth, and more recently there have been molecular observations for evolution.
There have been many scientific breakthroughs and direct observations that support the evolutionary theory since Charles Darwin projected it in the year 1837. The theory of creationism does not have any breakthroughs or direct observations, and therefore does not give students in schools today a chance to build a foundation of observation skills, or deductive reasoning that can help them in life. Science, however, does give them these skills. According to “Campbell Biology: Eighth Edition,” evolution means “descent with modification.” He proposed that every living thing is a descendant of an ancestral species totally different from the species of today. He did this by observing many different changes in animals, so observation skills are a necessary part of discovering new scientific information in future generations. Natural selection is one main idea in Darwin’s theory of evolution. It says that some organisms of a population possess certain characteristics that allow them to survive and reproduce at a better rate than others of a population. In other words, the weaker populations of species die out, and, as a result, others thrive. For example, according to the Campbell Biology textbook website, a man named John Endler, a researcher for the University of California, experimented with guppies on the island of Trinidad. He introduced guppies with dull coloring into a pool containing killifish, which prey on guppies that do not...
