My Learner is Nia. Her LCI scores are S33, P32, TR22, C27. She is a strong willed learner and a nontraditional learner. To be more successful Nia should realize that she is not in the military anymore, she is in school. Asking for help or moving backwards should not make her look or feel less confident in her work. In this situation its okay to ask the instructor for more clarification on the assignment. Nia could have also looked up some structures on how to write a paper without copying someone else’s words without citing it or putting quotation marks.

My LCI scores are S30, P35, TR15, and C25.

For this class I tethered my Sequence pattern. I reread the “Write” instructions repeatedly to make sure I have not missed anything that has to be in my assignments. I go back to the chapters and review everything, even reread sections over to refresh my memory. I have also been looking at the quiz first to see what answers I should be looking for before I start reading. I jot down information that I think I might need later on for an assignment or discussion. I also tethered my Sequence Pattern in the last three weeks by setting a schedule to do all of my discussions and assignments on certain days and times. Speaking to my advisor first, helped me understand the attendance rule. She made me aware when to submit all of my quizzes, discussions and assignments. It has really helped.
