The process a person goes through when it comes to making a big decision is almost always a struggle. I’ve had to make a lot of these choices in my short lifetime, and choosing a school was in no way an easy process. I have parents that waited until later in life to finish their college degrees, and both wish that they had finished up sooner. Because of this, I hated the fact that I was not in college and felt like I was doing absolutely nothing with my life. I needed to find a great college that would suit my very complicated life. If I did not make the decision fast enough I would miss out on yet another semester of school, and that was not an option. Looking was the first step; the actual process of elimination was really the hardest part. Making sure you pick a school that fits your specific needs, but at the same time keeping you happy is one of the most important decisions anyone will ever have to make. There I was, a nineteen year old with a computer and a dream of being a writer. It was time to find out which college would best suit my lifestyle and dreams?
I was a nineteen years old without a school and not really going anywhere in the world. I had to do something about this fast. I live very close to many different colleges so I figured I would visit some schools. I went and searched many campuses and did not feel right in any of them. My mother has always been there for me when I needed her, and this time was no different. She was in the process of finishing up her degree through an online school. I was completely ignorant to the idea of online colleges. With no idea on how to even start looking, I quickly grabbed my computer and began my search.
