The business research article is about workplace safety it is Attitudes of Teenagers Towards Workplace Safety written by Kristina M. Zierold, Erin C. Welsh, and Teresa J. McGeeney. Safety training is known to prevent and reduce workplace injuries. The research wanted to know the methods that teens are trained and how effective this training is for them. The researcher was also interested in the teen’s attitude toward training. To answer their research questions they formed a focus group of 210 teens from Jefferson County, Kentucky. The researchers used two high schools to conduct their research. The first school is an inner city school it had 983 students that consisted of 292 freshmen, 244 sophomores, 191 juniors, and 246 seniors. The first school is predominantly females at 66% and its racial and ethnic population is 82% African American, 12% Caucasian and the last 6% is other races. The school prepares their students for careers or college. The second high school is a suburban school it has 1,936 students, of these 581 are freshman, 527 sophomores, 401 juniors, and 368 seniors. The second school is mostly females (53%) and it racial and ethnic population is 72% Caucasian, 27% African American, and 2% other races.
