African Bushmen Creation-
What I’ve learned about the African Bushmen was that they were said to be original from the undergrounds, first question I asked my self was how they survived and how much space was there in the undergrounds. Another thing I found interesting was how the humans were able to communicate with the Animals before they went against Kaang word and made fire, after they made the fire the animals ran because they were afraid and the humans were no longer able to communicate with the animals which I guess was the punishment for making fire. The last Interesting thing I found in the African Bushmen myth was that we all have a living spirt but we cannot see it, our spirits can fly out of one body and go into another one. After reading this I thought maybe the African Bushmen believe in reincarnation.
Iroquois Creation Myth-
First interesting thing that I saw was no one died or was boring in the floating island in the sky, and then I saw that the woman was going to give birth to twins so that means the sky woman didn’t have all the fault for wanting to have the children the husband could have part of the blame. Another Interesting fact was how the Water animals helped the unknown sky woman that was falling maybe they saw something in her that could help the animal’s progress? Also a little toad started collecting mud and placing it on the turtle back until it was the size of North America, it must have taken the little toad a long time for this to happen or if the paragraph that says: “The mud began to grow and grow and grow until it became the size of North America” Maybe the mud that they animals spread on the turtles back started to grow by itself. The last interesting fact I saw was that Sapling had defeated his brother and was forced to live on the turtle’s back, what I didn’t understand how was he forced to live on a turtles back couldn’t he make new land for himself to claim if he could form volcanos with his anger....
