The restaurant of my choice is an organic restaurant called Crust Eat Real. It is located in Chicago, off the corner of Damen St. and Division Ave. in the Wicker Park area. Crust Eat Real has been in business for about 3 years. The cuisine in the menu are described to be very delicious, impressive, and has a wonderful taste. All the customers that has visited the restaurant and cemented on the over all experience at Crust Eat Real has said they had an very pleasant experience and would definitely put the restaurant on their list for restaurants that are favorable. Customers are very pleased with the cuisine and the service as well. All the credit for the impressive menu is due to the Executive Chef Michael Oltenburg. Michael Oltenburg is also the owner of Crust Eat Real has been the executive chef since the restaurant open three years ago and is responsible for the success. Michael Oltenburg is originally from Italy. He was classically trained in Italy. Also, he has another restaurant in Chicago called Bistro Compagnet. Michael has made a success in the culinary industry from his experience and passion for the culinary arts. His success can be tested through his cuisines on the menu. There is a couple of cuisines that includes one of the five mother sauces. These cuisines are Shroom, which is woodland mushrooms, spinach, béchamel, wild herbs, goat cheese and parmigiano-reggiano. Also, Carbonara which includes bacon, béchamel, caramelized onions, peas and topped with a sunny side up egg. Another, Flamkuchen which includes bacon, béchamel, caramelized onions, caraway seeds and parmigiano-reggiano. Last, Basilico which includes tomato sauce, béchamel, buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil. All of these cuisines I just mentioned all include Béchamel. I myself would love to try Basilco because I love tomato and with the béchamel as one of the ingredients, the mixture of the two would enlighten my taste buds with that cheesy flavor.
