This paper is an essay that was assigned for me to do as a means of corrective training for infractions involving me being unaccountable and unprofessional. Although essays are generally short this one is more than 1500 words; words that form sentences that convey meaning. Not typically drafted just to fulfill the request; but honestly composed to communicate what I think and feel.
An essay is a short literary composition on a particular theme or subject, usually in prose and generally analytic, speculative, or interpretative. My subject is myself. I am using a combination of forms and styles to share my thoughts.
THE INFRACTION
I have been written up for being late to PT or just completely missing it. I was told that everyone must show up for PT for accountability purposes. At one point my argument was, "why could I not just show up at 0900hrs for Work Call for accountability purposes. I am nursing a severally injured knee and can't get around to well. My profile prevents me from participating in PT and it limits my work days to just 5 hours a day. My request was denied. SSG. Ambriz said if she has to show up then I have to show up. I felt that was unsympathetic and senseless. But, it's still the standard, so I let that argument go.
Over the course of 7 months, I have been counseled 3 times for missing accountability formation. After the third time, I was given an assignment to write an essay about how missing accountability...
