Mary Shelley was born on August 30, 1797 in the 8th year of the French Revolution. Her mother died tragically 10 days after giving birth, so Mary Shelley never knew her mother. Mary Shelley's first and most important piece of work was Frankenstein, which was finished when she was 19 years old. Mary Shelley died at the age of 53 from a brain tumor in 1851. She is buried in St Peters Churchyard.

I feel that the point of this book was that we need to be careful that our technology doesn?t get out of hand and end up destroying us. In the book Victor Frankenstein creates this monster that he thought would be this magnificent creation and it ends up killing people and causes havoc throughout the town. The book Frankenstein takes place in Germany. I think that this book could take place in different locations. Their is not a specific geographic feature in the book that you couldn?t find just about anywhere else. Some major characters in the book are Victor Frankenstein, Elizabeth, Caroline, Earnest, William, Henry Clerval, and the monster. I think that the monster is both the nicest and meanest character in the book. He will kill people in cold blood, but he doesn?t really no right and wrong yet so that not really his fault. The reason he is nice is because all he want is to be excepted and he just wants to be with other people and have a good time. He?s really just a gentle giant. I also think that he is the most memorable character in the book. Even though the monster had a fully matured body, he was like a child because he had no memories or experiences of his own. When the monster was given life he had no concept of good or evil. Everything that he did or experienced w! as something new to him. All of the monsters behaviors would have to be learned. He?s like a baby experiencing things for the first time all through the book. The saddest part in the book to me was when he tell very one that he only sought love and kindness but was...
