NEVER JUDGE OTHERS
“We should never judge others no matter who they are, what they look like or their race or color as goodness comes from the heart not by color”. For instance a person doesn’t look at the color or race to help someone instead defies all odds and does what he/she feels is right. I realized this when I was in high school. The incident took place in 2011, on a windy afternoon in the parking lot while I was heading home from school. As I was walking along the path to my car, I was lost in the galaxy of nature with the birds chirping, the light gust of wind, and the rustling of leaves when suddenly I felt something- a tight grip on my arms bringing me back to reality. One of the students from our school offered me cigarettes. I refused to take it but this student who goes by the name Devon was being really pushy. He pleaded me as if I were a child refusing to be fed. The sound of the hustling wind and the voice of Devon was like kneeling down to me to try something new. Just as I was about to fall into the ocean of peer pressure, another student named Cindy came in for the rescue. She had the ‘eye of a tiger’ as nothing could escape from her sight. Cindy was a big built, beautiful looking black girl. She was the class president and always had a watch for students like Devon whom she referred to as the “Devils of the class”. Cindy had the advantage over Devon as she was bigger in size and had more strength. She pushed away Devon so hard and fiercely that he fell to the ground like scrambled toast.
