Critical and creative thinking is the habit of carefully, reasoned inspection of the way we evaluate, judge and act with the aim of making our self wiser, more reflective and therefore better men and women. Critical and creative thinking is a self directed and guided by reasons.
Creative and critical thinking is the disciplined intellectual process of applying skillful reason as a guide to belief or actions.
Critical and creative thinking help an individual to become self directed and independent thinker because it enables an individual have an ability to think in a systematic and logical manner with openness to questions and reflect on the reasoning process. These help in the adherence to intellectual standard, proficiency in using reasoning, a commitment to develop and maintain intellectual trait of main and habit thought and the competence of using of thinking skills and judgment.
Critical and creative thinker is able to eliminate irrelevance, inconsistency and illogical thought. Eliminate confusion and ambiguity in the presentation and understanding of thoughts and ideas. We are able to recognize strength and weaknesses. An individual is able to offer his perspective on the subject at hand wit clear understanding. Individual use elements of thought to figure out difficult question s and recognize that they critically have to monitor their thinking to ensure that their thinking meet meets the threshold. tn individual is able to evaluate his/her thinking a and the thinking of others on a given problem so that he may become to the defensible, well reasoned view of the problem and therefore know what to believe 0r do in a given circumstance. This can only be achieved by being committed to developing the mind as self directed and independe3nt critical thinker.
