One hundred twelve point seventeen is the exact total distances from my home to George Washington University. Most of my family members think this consideration to go so far away is a bad idea but I disagree with them. To me George Washington University holds more in store for my future then any other college or university in my area. For one it offers me opportunity, something I have been struggling to find in Florida in general. Most of the schools that I have visited in my local area do not have enough academic structure. Their courses are not challenging enough to make you want to study at their school.
In thinking of schools to apply to I came across George Washington University. I learned about the school on my visit to Washington DC last April on my trip to Close-Up. As I began doing research on the school, I began to examine it. For once I found a school that not only offered opportunity but it also presented a challenge as well. The teachers always have their doors open.
The reason I believe the comfort zone to be very important is because; I wouldn’t be able to go home if life gets to hard. George Washington University would be the school to shape me, to make me become stronger, to help me follow my dreams. They offer me support and encouragement. I would have teachers who love what they teach and love their students. I would be able to do something for the community and not feel like my work has gone in vain. My biggest influence in applying to George Washington University is the mere fact that I will be able to find a home in a big province but I know I will not get lost because George Washington University will always be the one school to guide me.
