Our company, Prestige World Wide, is starting on a new project in an upcoming province of China. Prestige World Wide is a company based out of the United States which builds and operates high-end golf courses and resorts. With over 25 golf courses and 10 resorts, Prestige World Wide is becoming a big name in the golfing world. Our company is looking to expand to a tropical province of Chain called Hainan. “Hainan” which means “South of the Sea”, is an island province off the southern coast of China in the South China Sea. Hainan province is the southernmost province of the People's Republic of China. It is not only the southernmost province in all of China, but also, with an area of roughly 13,200 square miles, it is the smallest (Wiki). The southernmost coast of China is composed of the Hainan Islands. These Islands are the Xisha Islands, Nansha Islands and Zhongsha Islands (Wiki). The largest of which is Hainan Island. And when speaking of “Hainan” in Chinese, it is usually Hainan Island that is referred. Our company is focusing on this area of China because of the great weather and its upcoming tourism industry. Tapping into a new market is a key influencer in why our company has been successful in the past.
Being a tropical island, Hainan enjoys the tropical monsoon climate that contributes to spring-like warm winter and very pleasant summer which makes it a great location for outdoor tourism. It is hot and warm all the year round with plenty of rainfall. Tropical storms and typhoons are frequent for the island in autumn. Located in the tropical and equatorial belt, Hainan has an abundance of sunshine, warmth and water (Wiki). Hainan's plentiful sunshine boasts a remarkably diverse ground for animals and plant life. Hainan's air quality is the best in China. According to data gathered by some world environmental protection organizations, both Haikou and Sanya are listed among the top 10 cities in the world for best air quality.
