My narrative about my Grandpa

Everyday people worry about their health, whether it is worrying about staying healthy, or, how to get healthy again after illness. My Grandfather had health issues when I was a kid, he ultimately died from his illness.
When I was a young kid, my step father adopted my sister and I, that is when my grandpa was brought into my life. I loved him as if he has always been my grandfather. A few years after being brought into the family, my grandpa was diagnosed with emphysema. He had quit smoking cigarettes, and tried to be as healthy as possible. He was a typical man and kept his nervousness about his condition under wraps.
A few years after that; something else started happening to him, He could not keep his head looking straight forward. He started looking as if had a crook in his neck, we all figured it was a pinched nerve or something not too serious.
When I turned around fifteen years old; my parents got divorced, and things got really odd or uncomfortable, so I did not go to my grandparent’s house anymore. Some time passed; a lot of time had passed. Within that time my grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer. I was devastated. My grandma’s neighbor died from the disease and he suffered before the illness took over his body. We were preparing ourselves for the worst and praying for the best. We knew we were going to lose him; we did not want him to suffer.
Within the year, from him being diagnosed and passing, He went through chemotherapy and the procedures to try and cure him took a toll on his body and mind. He lost a lot of weight and his hair, and after all that, the condition of his cancer did not get any better. The doctors rated his cancer at a stage four. When we got the news, we knew we didn’t have much time left with him.
A couple months before he passed, he wasn’t able...
