LETTER OF INTENT
Homeless Shelter Grant

March 5, 2013

Mr. J. Miller
Department of Homeless Shelters and Services
123 North Savior Street
Fresno, California 93720

RE: HSEG Letter of Intent

Dear Mr. Miller,

I present this Letter of Intent to notify the Department of Homeless Shelters and Services of Phoenix Shelter’s intent to submit a proposal for the Homeless Shelters Enhancement Grant Program. The Phoenix program is very much aligned with the Departments goals of providing homeless individuals and families with basic provisions for living and good hygiene.

Our agency, established in 2000, is serving the Fresno community and surrounding rural areas with services in providing meals, clean hygiene, and available clothing. Recently we were honored with the Central Valley Humanitarian Award for providing the highest quality of care to sheltered and unsheltered individuals.

T. Cabrera will be our main point of contact for the purposes of the application process and can be reached at:

• 456 Hope Street, Fresno, California 93720
• (559) 466-3537
• tmorgan2013@pshelter.org

Thank you for allowing Phoenix Shelter the opportunity to apply and participate for the Department of Homeless Shelters and Services grant award....
