My cousin who grew up being really spoiled and was thought by a teacher, my aunt, to respect her parents and the value of money. Since she is the only child, her parents would purchase anything she would want and grew up always relying to her parents and being really spoiled. My cousin’s behavior is disrespectful; she talks back to her parent and would ask or take money like it is worth nothing. One day her parents and my cousin had an arguments about her birthday party how she wants all this unnecessary things for her party. Her parents would tell her that it is not right what she’s doing but she would never listen to them. One day her parents got enough of her behavior, so they decided for her to go live in Philippines with our aunt and experience how some people does not have it easy. My aunt lives in a province in Philippines, which my cousin did not enjoy. My cousin had to live with no air-conditioning, no hot or cold showers, and also she had to work for money. My aunt got her a job where she had to work in the farm and plant rice and corn. Also working with that my aunt made her clean the house and had many rules for her such as; curfew is 9pm, church every Sunday, schedules to eat and wake up, and much more. My cousin had a hard time being there for four weeks. She came back with a new attitude and had more respect toward her parents and other people and the value of money. Since my aunt knows how children are, she taught her many valuable things that she needs in her life
