When dealing with guns the main thing is to be able to control this dangerous instrument. The Nation as a whole needs to be aware of gun trafficking and its effects on our Nations. Gun trafficking can significantly affect the safety of our children and its entire population. Gun trafficking allows illegal weapons to be easily available and allows guns being placed in the wrong hands.
The general fact is that one in five Americans own or will own a gun. That is millions of guns in circulation the question remains how to control the use of a gun. Education is the primary answer to the control of a dangerous instrument. We have to acknowledging the fact that guns have a purpose in our civilization in keeping law, and to protect our country. Stricter guidelines for owning a gun should be implemented. Some ideas are continuing education classes in order to maintain current with owing guns, any recreational sites like hunting clubs must first attend a certain amount of class hours before they can hunt. The more information and required education can help with gun control.
A growing issue is the trafficking of guns of illegal guns. Almost every gun starts out as a legal product that through licensed dealers, straw purchases and gun shows (Action, 2013). Licensed dealers buy guns and the recorded sales of these guns are maintained. Some licensed dealers get involved in the illegal distribution of guns by selling them off the books. Straw purchases are when a person who is eligible to purchase a gun for a person who could not buy a gun (Action, 2013). Gun shows is a big area for criminals to obtain multiple guns without registration. Gun trafficking is the transportation of guns from one state and selling them in multiple states and across borders.
