Have you ever came across a story on the news about a child or someone being shot and killed on accident by either a family member or even themselves? Playing with firearms is a very stupid and a very danerous thing to do, whether you think its a fun joke or you are just trying to enterain your friends. But have you ever wondered the possible consequences that come from playing with a gun? Or what about the importance of gun safety and using them in a safely manner where no one could end up hurt in the first place? Here, I am going to explain to you the several different dangers of playing with a firearm and the importance of gun safety that cannot be stressed enough.
Lets say one day you go into your parent's gun locker becuse you know where the keys are due to them showing you for self defense reasons in a possible hostile situatuion. And you decide to go and grab it, and start playing with it. While playing with it you decide to call your friend into the room and you start pointing it at him, spinning it on your finger, or maybe even pointing it at yourself. Whether youre pointing it at your friend, yourself, or even a sibling or relative, and you both are getting a good laugh out of it and think it is all fun and games. Well, it may be for that second, but at any second all the "Fun and games", could turn into a disasterous event. Most poeple think that the firearm is unloaded of any ammunition when they take the magazine of rounds out, but, what they dont know and are oblivious to, is that there may be a round in the chamber. Having a round in the chamber is mainly for quick selfe defense in a situation where you need to quickly fire the firearm without having to cock it back. That is the biggest mistake made by clueless people that know nothing about firearms, that are so quick to grab them, pull the magazine out and start pulling the trigger like its a game.
