In a small town called Johnsville in a country called Spain, there was a young boy that the people called Harold. He was called Harold because no one really knew his name. He lived in a small cottage near the edge of town with his mother, father, and his one brother and two sisters. They lived on a farm with wheat fields of gold, sheep, and best of all chickens. Everyday Harold had to get the eggs from the chicken coop, feed the sheep, and make dinner for the family. Harold also had to help his father in the wheat fields. Harold was exactly 15 years old and proud of it. His brother and sisters always made messes that he had to clean up. Every night they tracked dirt or mud into the house and Harold would have to stay up late and sweep it all up. It was late October and it was starting to get cold and last night it even frosted over the lawn. After the cold long winter, he grew a pumpkin and entered it in the contest at the county fair. When he showed his mother she passed out and he showed his father.

He said, 'Wow, that's more money than we will ever have in the bank. That would help out our farm so much.' Then the whole family helped grow the pumpkins. It was October 22 and the Feast was tomorrow and Mr. Twinkie was the real competition. His pumpkin was already 432,021 pounds and we weren't rich enough for a scale but I think that ours is 432,022 pounds. Harold and his father watered the pumpkin all day and it keeps getting bigger and bigger. Mr. Twinkie has a crane to bring his pumpkin to town with and Harold just has his and his fathers muscles. The next day, Harold and his father rolled the pumpkin to the town square for the feast and pumpkin contest. Of course Mr. Twinkie had a nice plump pumpkin. The town feasted and drank... water that is. The announcer came on the speaker. He said, 'Will Harold and Mr. Twinkie please tend to your pumpkins. It was a close competition and I hate to say it but Mr. Twinkie... You receive SECOND...
