Act One, Scene one
(In the car on the way home)
Ethan: Let’s stop at school I need to get something from my locker.
(They all stop and get out of the car)
Sheila: Okay, but hurry I don’t think we are allowed to be in school this late:
Ethan: It’s okay, I’ve come to school on the weekend many times before.
Sheila: Really, (looks at watch) At 6.30 pm?
Ethan: Okay but not in the evening.
Hailey: Whatever just hurry up and let’s get out of here, school gives me the creeps at night.
Sheila: I know. This place looks like a prison cell the barred windows, the grey walls, the breaking roof, all that’s left are watchdogs and security men walking up and down the school.
Brandon: True, this school is falling apart and hopefully the government will think the same thing and shut the school down.
Hailey: That will be great, no more prison cell, no more black, white and grey, there would be colour again.
Brandon: I know that would be great.
Sheila: I’m tired of standing let’s find a classroom.
(They all walk off to find a classroom)
Scene two
Hailey: (looks at watch) what’s taking Ethan so long, he should hurry up and let’s get out of here.
Brandon: I know. If he doesn’t hurry up, we’ll leave him here and go home....
