body's calcium is stored in the bones and teeth.” (Wikimedia Foundation, Inc., 2009) Instead of pouring out milk when I eat my cereal I now drink the milk. I have also begun taking a vitamin D supplement to ensure that I am receiving enough calcium to be healthy. I never thought that calcium was a big deal in my diet and I never really cared for milk. I am drinking milk every now and then but by taking the supplement I am sure to get enough vitamin D in my daily diet. I did a little bit of research on calcium to see what would be affected if I was not receiving enough calcium in my daily diet. I now know that if I do not receive enough calcium that I am more susceptible to bone diseases and bad teeth.

and beans. Meat will provide the body with many different vitamins that you would not get otherwise. Meat is just as big a part of a heart healthy diet than any other food on the pyramid.
