There are many different systems that make up the human body. The endocrine system is part of the communication system of the body. This system also helps to coordinate psychological reactions. Every human body has one, it is just the concept of understanding how it works.
The endocrine system made up of seven different endocrine glands. These glands produce hormones, which flow through the body in the bloodstream. Hormones have many different functions within our bodies. These hormones carry messages, help to arrange the nervous system and trigger different behaviors.
The thyroxin hormone is produced by the thyroid gland. This hormone helps to regulate a person’s weight and how active one may be. Another endocrine gland is the parathyroids. This gland helps with the balance of calcium in the body. It also is important because it has a bearing on one’s excitability.
The pineal gland, which creates a hormone called melatonin. This hormone helps the body with its inner clock. Knowing when to be awake and when it is time to sleep. The pancreas helps regulate the amount of sugar in the body. Hormones created by the pancreas are insulin and glucagon. Insulin and glucagon hormones are essential to help keep the body balanced.
The pituitary gland is known as the “master gland.” This gland controls many different functions in the body like, blood pressure, thirst, sexual behavior, body growth, and the amount of water in the cells. The gonads are known as testes in males and ovaries in females. This gland produces hormones that categorize masculinity and femininity. These hormones are very important with the growth of all humans.

The last endocrine gland is the adrenal glands. This gland has two different parts. They are the adrenal medulla and the adrenal cortex. Both parts of this gland produce hormones that activate nervous system, which controls the body’s reaction to stress....
