A strategy is a long-term plan to achieve certain objectives. A marketing strategy is therefore a marketing plan designed to achieve marketing objectives. For example, marketing objective may relate to becoming the market leader by delighting customers. The strategic plan therefore is the detailed planning involving marketing research, and then developing a marketing mix to delight customers. Every firms needs to have clear marketing objectives, and the major route to achieving organizational goals will depend on strategy. 1) Advertisement – The advertisement is a non personal presentation by an identified sponsor to promote the products. ero MotoCorp Chairman Brijmohan Lall formally announced on July 29, 2011 the end of relationship with Honda and soon after that the new logo and corporate identity, with the taglines “Hum mein hai Hero”, was launched and communicated through different media. The first priority was given to the TV ads and print media. A 120s TVC and a full page print ad were the branding strategy planned and executed. Later radio channels and online social media were focused.
