Student’s decision to go to high school
By the time many students reach high school, they have learned the basics in most subjects. Some still have much to gain from the education that high schools offer, but others might be better off spending the next four years in other ways. For their benefit, high school attendance should be voluntary.
I don’t believe anyone should skip high school. Most people learn more then just book smarts in high school. Most students learn who they are, or shortly after graduation. By skipping the whole high school part you miss out on all of that. You miss out on meeting the new people, and growing as a person, in all aspects.
I understand if you’re a geniuses skipping high school, but not everyone is. If you are possibly geniuses then you would have done the high school classes at one point in time. Even then you’re still going through high school. Just in a different aspect then most people.
Now by putting the book knowledge in to play, unfortunately, I didn’t finish high school. Now I wish that I did. It’s not as easy to go back once you leave. I realize now, how much book knowledge I missed out on. There are many things that I should have learned while in high school that I didn’t.
As for classes, you don’t learn the necessity’s for college before high school. The classes you take while in high school prepare you for the real world. Also with out going to high school and getting your diploma, there are no good jobs out there. As well you can’t go to college. Jr. High does not teach you enough to stop there.
