Ernest Hemingway:Hills like white elephants

In story Hills like white elephants by Ernest Hemingway ,author uses many symbols to provide that American guy forces a girl to get an abortion,and he shows us a life dilemmas.
In the begining of the story author shows us a beuatiful landscape of trees,hills across the valley,two tracks which means two choices in girl's life,should she get the abortion or not.American guy is just a mediator in story,beacuse he just has an impact on her,but the choice is in the girl's hands.All over the story he doesn't want to admit that he wants that the girl get on abortion,so he said that the „thing“ is the perfectly simple,just to force her;“And i know it's a perectly simple...“ In story there is two sides of the hills,the dry one and the side which is full of trees,field of grains. Girl looked up across at the hills on the dry side of the valley where she saw the emptiness,weakness of their relationship,but from the other side she saw relationship full of caring,love,and understanding.The important symbol in the story is alcohol,which also represents instability and laziness of their relationship:“I wanted to try this new drink.That's all we do,isn't it-look at things and try new drings?“where auhtor shows us that their relationship become boring and that they should do something about it.But alcohol also represets some kind of forcing to get the abortion,beacuse American guy constantly ordered a beer or an Anis del Toro,just to manipulate with the girl,and to force her to get the abortion.But girl not just thinking about drinks,so she said that the hills looks like white elephants:“They were white in the sun and the country was brown and dry.they look like white elephants,she said.“White elephnats resprenets the purest of the unborn baby and something that nobody wants.It also represents their life wich should be sacred and special.Later she said that the hills don't like a white elephants,where she might thinks...
