The old testament is separated into nine major eras, or occurrences in history, mankinds creation; Patriarch(Fathers of the Human Race); Exodus (Departure of Israelites from Egypt under Moses); Conquest (Crossing Jordon by Joshua, and its encounters); Judge (the mirrored reflection of establishing a governing body); Kingdom (two nations), Exile; Return (the return of the Jews); and Silence (the period from the old to New Testament). The reference description contained within the application study bible contain period descriptions, but in-depth study within the literary, historical references, and other writings contained in the Bible a more complete and recorded accuracy is contained within.
